In fulfilling our purpose, the Houston Genealogical Forum wants to provide to the genealogical community information about the various records types for Houston, Harris County, Texas that a family history researcher  would be interested in finding and using in order to identify and locate their ancestors.

Volunteers are always needed to assist in projects that HGF might be undertaking at any point in time. The public research content is provided as a means to attract non-member visitors and encourage them to join and participate in the activities and programs offered by the Houston Genealogical Forum.
